Matt Clayton

Public Health Commissioner Matthew J. Clayton joined the Springdale Health Department as the Health Commissioner on August 24, 2015. Matt came to the City of Springdale after working for the City of Cincinnati Health Department for over twelve years as a Registered Sanitarian and as a Trainer. Prior to working for the Cincinnati Health Department, Matt was employed with the Hamilton County Health Department, also as a Registered Sanitarian for over four years. In total, Matt has over twenty three years of experience in the public health field. Prior to his career as a public health official, Matt worked in the private sector as an industrial chemist and an environmental chemist for just over six years. 

Matt graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in 1993 with a Bachelor in Environmental Science and Wright State University  in 2022 with a Master's in Public Health. In his free time, Matt enjoys traveling, camping, attending church, and outdoor activities with his wife and four children. Matt is also involved in Boy Scouts with his sons. He and his wife are proud to be active participants in the adoptive and foster parenting community.

Debra Boggs

Debi Boggs has worked in the Springdale Health Department since 2015. Her Associate’s Degree from the University of Cincinnati in 1987 in Applied Business has served her well over the years.  She is a huge fan of THE Ohio State University.  She enjoys time with her husband Joe and seeing her kids in Columbus, Ohio, Parkersburg, WV, as well as her adorable granddaughter.  She is an avid reader of John Grisham and Lee Child books as well, and is always ready to see a good action movie on the big screen. 

Charles Noble

Charles graduated from Townson University of Baltimore with a BS in Biology. He's utilized his learning in several public health roles including the Kentucky Division of Water Total Maximum Daily Load Section, as an Environmental Health Specialist at Hamilton County Public Health for 13 years, and he's recently been named the Southwest Ohio Sanitarian of the Year.

At home, Charles is a loving husband and father to his wife of 38 years, Eileen, and his two children, Wesley and Kailey. In his free time, he hits the hiking trails and searches for local artifacts.

Brandiss

Brandiss Ewing-Jackson joined the Springdale Health Department as the Director of Nursing on January 16, 2024.  Brandiss worked at UC Health for 13 years prior to joining the Springdale Health Department.  At UC Health, Brandiss first worked in patient registration and then became an RN as she pursued her passion for nursing.  Brandiss obtained her nursing degree at the University of Cincinnati Blue Ash.  She also holds a bachelor’s degree in organizational leadership from Wright State University.  Brandiss grew up in Springdale and is very proud of her family’s legacy within the community.  She attended Springdale Elementary and is a graduate of the Princeton High School. In her spare time, Brandiss enjoys dog sitting a Cane Corso and outdoor activities.
