Community Health

The Springdale Health Department is committed to caring for the basic health needs of the local community, as the health of a community can be measured by the health of its individual members. When people are healthy, they're better able to work, learn, and contribute to the greater good of those around them. The more empowered we feel as individuals taking care of our health, the more able we are to do the same for others. 

This same principle applies cyclically to the health of our community. Suppose our community leaders and institutions provide us with a healthy environment and the resources necessary to take charge of our health. In that case, the more prepared we are to take positive, healthy steps.
