ABOUT THE CHIEF
Chief Thomas Wells was appointed as Police Chief in February of 2020. Chief Wells has been a member of the Springdale Police Department since 1990. He has served as a uniformed patrol officer, patrol sergeant, patrol lieutenant, and Assistant Chief before his promotion to Chief. He has a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati and has also attended advanced training through the Police Executive Leadership College and the Certified Law Enforcement Executive training offered through the Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police. Chief Wells is also a graduate of the 236th Session of the FBI National Academy
