The City of Springdale Building Department inspects all new construction work involving Civil, Building, Mechanical, Gas, Electric and Fire Protection Systems.  (New Plumbing work is inspected through the Hamilton County Public Health department.) 

Please schedule your inspections using the online Citizen Portal, at least the day before the inspection is needed.

The City of Springdale employs Multi-Certified Inspectors as follows:

• Building Inspector I - No OBBS State Certifications* required
• Building Inspector II - One of the following BBS Certifications*:  Either a BI, RBO or an ESI
• Building Inspector III - Two of the following OBBS Certifications*:  RBO and either a BI or ESI
• Building Inspector Iv - Three of the following OBBS Certifications*: RBO, BI and ESI
