VIII. NEW BUSINESS

A.     The owner of 55 Progress Place requests a variance to place a 14 feet high ground sign 0 feet from the right of way line and to permit an electronic message panel on the sign. Said variances are from Section 153.523(D) “Permanent ground signs shall not extend higher than seven feet above the finished grade.” and Section 153.532(A)(4) “…one industrial sign may be permitted for each main use within the required yards… and not within ten feet of a public street right-of-way…” and Section 153.523(J) “…No sign shall have animation, moving parts, flashing lights or changing colors…. Electronic signs shall only be permitted per 153.531(D)(11) and (12) and 153.538….”
