Landon Lane Reconstruction

Work along Landon Lane will start during the winter of 2019 with the replacement of the existing street, curbs, and storm catch basins.  The City received a 20 year interest free loan to make this project able to be completed.  The project in the design phase now and will be able to be bid on shortly.

Some commercial properties may be notified that their apron is in need of replacement per the City of Springdale's Code of Ordinance.  If you received a letter and plan to make the improvements yourself, please follow this link to the driveway apron permit.  Driveway apron permits are accepted by the Springdale Building Department during the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Friday.  Once approved, you will be contacted to pickup your permit to allow work to begin.

East Crescentville Road Improvements

Work is taking place along East Crescentivlle Road between Tivoli Lane and Business Center Lane in conjunction with the new Springdale Commerce Park currently under development in the former G.E.E.A.A. property.  These improvements include the widening of the road to develop proper turn lanes in and out of the development, storm system modifications to handle the long term improvements planned for the area and a new traffic signal to be installed at the intersection of Crescentville and Transportation Way.  Construction on this portion of the road is anticipated to be complete by the summer of 2020.

Also in the planning stage is the reconstruction of East Crescentville Road from Transportation Way to I-75.  The project will include various safety upgrades along this section of road, including the widening of the road to allow safer turning movements into driveways, storm system improvements to improve drainage in the area, and a new traffic signal at the intersection of Chesterdale and Crescentville.  This project is being managed through ODOT and is anticipated to begin construction in 2022.  This project is a partnership between The City of Springdale and Sharonville, Butler County Engineer's Office, and West Chester Township.
