Springdale Park Subdivision Watermain Replacement Project

Starting in December, Springdale residents in the area of Cloverdale Drive will be impacted by a watermain replacement project.  This project was brought to the City by Greater Cincinnati Water Works (GCWW) as part of an infrastructure upgrade to the existing watermains that service this area of Springdale.  GCWW will be contacting affected residents once the contractor has been selected.  The project includes the installation of new watermains and fire hydrants, removal of existing fire hydrants, and reconnection of existing home service lines to the newly installed mains.  Disconnection and reconnection to the water service will be coordinated through GCWW.

The contractor has completed the watermain install east of Greenlawn in the subdivision.  The contractor is currently working on connecting residents in this area to the new watermain and this work should be complete by November of 2017.

The contract for the area of the subdivision West of Greenlawn has been awarded to a different contractor and that contractor is set to start sometime in November of 2017.

Once the GCWW watermain project is completed, the City and GCWW will perform a final grind and pave of all streets in the subdivision.  The final paving associated with this project is scheduled for the Spring of 2018.

The contract has been awarded to Prus Construction and they anticipate starting construction on the catch basins in February of 2018.
