The Springdale Health Department Community Health Division provides Ohio Department of Health (ODH) sponsored vaccines required for school attendance to uninsured/ underinsured children. ODH's Immunization Program
The Springdale Health Department Community Health Division partners with the ODH State Epidemiology Office, the ODH Bureau of Infectious Disease, the Hamilton County Health Epidemiologist and the local health care community to report laboratory confirmed communicable diseases through the ODH Ohio Disease Reporting System (ODRS). Springdale residents who have contracted a communicable disease will be provided with information about their illness from the Springdale Health Department. The Springdale Health Department works with our stakeholders and community partners to identify the sources of communicable disease and to prevent the spread of disease through education and community outreach. The Springdale Health Department provides or coordinates with our community partners to provide the following health screening programs: TB, Cholesterol, Glucose, Blood Pressure and Mammogram. SHD also provides home wellness checks to our residents who require them.
