This recreational program is open to all boys and girls ages 4 and up, regardless of skill level. Children will learn in a positive and fun environment while learning the skills of the sport. No tryouts! Uniforms and all fees are included in the registration costs. Register for Fall sports during the month of May and save $15 (Springdale Community Center Membership Required). Non-residents may register beginning June 1 ($25 Activity Fee Required).
Instructional Soccer – Children learn the basics of soccer and play in a non-competitive atmosphere. Ages 4-6 by 7/31/13. $35
SAY Soccer – This recreational program provides competition and requires good sportsmanship. Kids ages 6 and older by 7/31/13 are eligible. $55

Springdale Parks & Recreation and the Springdale Youth Boosters begin accepting registrations for winter sports on Sunday September 1. No Tryouts! Participate in the Northern Recreational Youth Basketball League and have fun, learn basketball skills and meet new people. Basketball is open to children born between 9/1/95 and 8/31/06, and teams will be formed according to age. All late signups will be placed on a waiting list and placement on a team cannot be guaranteed. Practices begin in November and games start in December. Cost is $40 ($55 beginning 10/1/13.)
Learn the basic fundamentals of volleyball in a fun environment! The program is open to youth ages 9-11 as of 9/30/13. Practices begin in December and games start in January. Cost is $20 ($35 beginning 10/1/13.)
Improve your skills and have fun playing with other teens. Teen volleyball is open to any youth who is at least 12 years old, but not more than 15 by 9/30/13. Practices will begin in December and games begin in January. Cost is $20 ($35 beginning 10/1/13.)
Children learn the basics of cheerleading and display their talents at the youth basketball games in Springdale. Open to children 2nd through 5th grades. Cost is $20 ($35 beginning 10/1/13.)

Baseball – For children born between 5/1/99 and 4/30/05
Participate in the Knothole Basketball and have fun, learn baseball skills and meet new people. Teams will be formed according to age. All late signups will be placed on a waiting list. $40 ($55 beginning 2/1)
Softball – For children born between 8/1/93 and 7/31/05
Players get an introduction to fast pitch softball in a recreational setting with an emphasis on pitching, hitting, fielding, and sportsmanship. $40 ($55 beginning 2/1)
Spring Soccer - For children born between 8/1/94 and 7/31/06
Children ages 6 and older may participate in this recreational league that encourages participation and good sportsmanship. $40 ($55 beginning 2/1)
All youth program participants must possess current Community Center membership at the time of sign-ups. Registrations will be accepted until teams are full. Beginning February 1 placement on teams cannot be guaranteed. Additionally, late registrations may be subject to additional charged for special order uniforms.
