Economic Development Director
Springdale, OH (11,220 residential 50,000 daytime) The City of Springdale is accepting applications for the position of Economic Development Director. Salary range ($73,497 - $114,655) DOQ/E with excellent fringe benefits. One of the largest retail business districts in the Tri-State and home of Tri-County Mall, Springdale has over two million square feet of Class A office space and over three million square feet of light manufacturing. Springdale is a progressive, quality-oriented community located on the I-275 beltway at the I-75/I-275 interchange, 20 miles north of Cincinnati.
The Economic Development Director reports directly to the City Administrator, and has primary responsibility for the Citys economic development activities, with special emphasis on business retention, recruiting new development, and facilitating the redevelopment of the Citys original village core.
A bachelors degree in public administration, business administration, economics, or a related field is required; a masters degree is preferred. Five or more years of work experience in economic development, industrial development, public relations, development financing, or any equivalent combination of education and experience providing the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is also a requirement. Summer Lifeguards and Swim Instructors

American Red Cross Lifeguarding, Standard First Aid and CPR certifications or equivalents required. Certification in American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor preferred. Day, night and weekend hours required. Pay range $8.50 - $12.50 DOQ. Minorities and Women are strongly encouraged to apply. EOE.
