* The right-of-way is a strip of land owned by the City, which usually includes the land between the roadway and the sidewalk and 1' behind the walk, or the street and the utility poles. Generally, the right-of-way is a stretch of land 10-15 feet from the street. No signs, including garage sale or realtor signs, are to be posted in the right-of-way.
