NEW BUSINESS
REGULATION R1-2004 “A REGULATION OF THE SPRINGDALE BOARD OF HEALTH AMENDING BOARD OF HEALTH REGULATION r1-2003 WHICH ESTABLISHED FEES FOR FOOD SERVICE OPERATIONS, RETAIL FOOD ESTABLISHMENTS, VENDING MACHINE LOCATIONS, AND TEMPORARY FOOD OPERATIONS WITHIN THE CITY OF SPRINGDALE; AND ESTABLISHED FEES FOR FOOD SERVICE OPERATION AND RETAIL FOOD ESTABLISHMENT PLAN REVIEWS”
This was a first reading for the regulation. Mrs. Mitrione said they may only be able to charge the state fee for the first mobile license. She said since there has never been one issued, there is no cost to calculate for the license fee. She also stated that they went over the food service fees and with adjustments, they are all higher than originally proposed.
Mrs. Mitrione said no health departments knew about the vaccinations. She said the next time CDC and the State Health Department will notify epidemiologists.
Food Sampling Program
Mrs. Mitrione reported that the annual budget for next year is due at the end of the month and she needs to know if she should budget for the food sampling program. It was agreed that she should budget for the program.
NURSE’S REPORT
Flu Vaccine Clinics
Ms. Messer reported that two flu shot clinics were held. Over 500 doses of vaccine were administered and the remaining vaccine has been committed. She said the last two scheduled clinics would not be held.
