Mission Statement
The mission of the City of Springdale’s Building Department
is to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for the community through enforcement of City
and State laws relating to construction and land use regulation.
The Building Department accomplishes its mission
statement by comprehensively enforcing building, zoning
and property
maintenance codes. The Building Department also enforces a Tree Preservation
Ordinance which discourages deforestation of development sites. The
Building Department coordinates all applications to the Springdale Planning Commission and Springdale Board
of Zoning Appeals.
The Building
Department is staffed by a Building Official,
three field inspectors, and two administrative assistants.
Building Department hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
