Fred Romano - Officer Romano graduated from North College Hill High School in 1977. He then attended the University of Cincinnati and received his Bachelor of Science degree majoring in Criminal Justice in 1982. He enlisted in the Marine Corps soon after graduation. He received his basic training at Paris Island and his advanced training in Military Police School at the Lackland Air Force Base in Texas.. After receiving his honorable discharge he accepted a position with the Montgomery Police Department in 1986. He was assigned to the Road Patrol Division. In 1989 he accepted a position as a Police Patrol Officer with the City of Springdale Police Department. Officer Romano is a certified PR-24 baton instructor, and is an instructor for the International Police Mountain Bike Association (IPMBA). He is an active member of the Springdale Police Bike Patrol and has served on a county task force. He was selected to serve on the Hamilton County SWAT Team where he served for seven years.
