-          ALL UNIFORMS AND EQUIPMENT FURNISHED BY DEPARTMENT

        

          OFF-DUTY EMPLOYMENT

-          CURRENT RATE OF PAY FOR OFF-DUTY EMPLOYMENT BY PRIVATE EMPLOYERS IS:

-          $30.00 PER HOUR – SECURITY TYPE ASSIGNMENT

-          $35.00 PER HOUR – TRAFFIC RELATED ASSIGNMENT

       

           SICK LEAVE

-          120 HRS. SICK LEAVE PER YEAR, ACCUMULATE TO A MAXIMUM OF 1,600 HRS.

-          ANNUAL CONVERSION OF TWO SICK LEAVE HOURS FOR ONE HOUR OF PAY FOR ACCRUED HOURS IN EXCESS OF 1,600 HRS [UP TO 60 HRS. EXTRA PAY PER YEAR ]

-          MAXIMUM OF 733 HRS PAID SICK LEAVE AT TIME OF RETIRMENT

 

 

 

          PENSION

-          FULL TIME POLICE OFFICERS ARE UNDER THE OHIO POLICE AND FIRE PENSION FUND

-          RETIREMENT AFTER 25 YEARS OF SERVICE – 60% TO A MAXIMUM OF 72%

 

          MISCELLANEOUS

-          LIFE INSURANCE PROVIDED

-          PARTICIPATION IN DEFERRED COMPENSATION PROGRAM [SAVINGS PROGRAM]
