Rosalyn Hamilton - Rosalyn Hamilton joined the Springdale Police Department in 1997 as a Violations Bureau Clerk. As a Violations Bureau Clerk, Rosalyn is responsible for dispatching officers, making contact with citizens via the telephone, and direct contact, responsible for computer functions and all other clerical functions within the department. Prior to joining the department, Rosalyn worked a number of years in the insurance industry as a Field Office Supervisor, Life and Health Sales and later a Claim Representative investigating and settling Auto, Liability, Homeowners and Worker Compensation claims with The Hartford Insurance Group. She later became a Customer Service Representative with Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield providing benefit information and claim assistance to policyholders. Rosalyn achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in English Literature from the University of Cincinnati. She has continued her education by attending classes and seminars designed to further her skills and knowledge. She has obtained Certificates of Achievement in Computer Skills Training, and Conversational Spanish at Great Oaks Vocational, has attended Communication and Professional Service Skills for the Public Sector, eOpata Learning course, COPSMART MDC Leads Certification, RCIC Operator Certification and Powerphone Law Enforcement Dispatch courses.
