Ike Kauffman is retired from construction work, Ike has worked for the Police Department for four years, as the school crossing guard for Springdale Elementary. His part-time duties have expanded to include cleaning the police cruisers and facility. Ike is originally from central Ohio, and still has a lake cottage there where he enjoys fishing. He has lived in Springdale for 47 years and coached youth soccer for 17 seasons here. Married for 52 years, he has 3 daughters, 3 grandchildren and is awaiting the arrival of his first great-grandchild this spring.
