David Ogden - Officer Dave Ogden graduated from Princeton HS in 1972. He enlisted in the Army and was assigned as a teletype intercept operator in the US Army Security Agency from 1972-1975, attaining the rank of SP/5. After his honorable discharge he attended Miami University of Ohio and graduated with an associate degree. Officer Ogden then attended Eastern KY University and graduated with a BS in Police Administration. Officer Ogden lived in Arizona for 3 years and returned to Ohio. He became a Springdale Police Officer in 1983. After a very successful career of 22 years he retired from the police department. He was the “Stolen Auto Recovery” team leader for several years. He mainly served the citizens of Springdale as a road patrol officer for 22 years. He came back to the department and continues to serve as an auxiliary officer. Dave is married and enjoys spending time with his 4 grandchildren. He has developed a keen interest in calligraphy and served as the president of the Greater Cincinnati Calligrapher's Guild and has presented demonstrations at the International Association of Master Penman, Engrossers, and Teachers of Handwriting annual convention.
