Chris Hedger -

Chris Hedger has been married to her husband for 15 years. She has two sons. When not at her sons’ basketball, football and baseball games, Chris and her family can be found camping or boating on area lakes and the Ohio River. Chris and her husband started a local club for Personal Watercraft enthusiasts, the Tri-state PWC club. The club meets once a month in April to September for rides and camping. Chris is a lifelong resident of the Cincinnati area and a 13 year resident of Deer Park. Chris currently is a member of the Deer Park City Council and sits on both the Safety Committee and the Legislative and Finance Committee and has served on the Public Works Committee as well as the committee negotiating the labor contract with the Service Department and the City Clerks. Chris has organized Student Government night for the past two years which partners a Deer Park High School Student with each member of City Council and gives the students a chance to learn and experience the responsibilities of our Elected Officials. Chris attended Mt. Notre Dame High School in Reading, Ohio and graduated in the late 1980’s. Chris earned a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Cincinnati. After graduation Chris worked as director of several area day care centers and School Age Child Care programs until she took time off to raise her sons. During her sabbatical from working outside the home, Chris took on the task of running an in-home child care operation for 12 years. Chris is currently working as a Police Clerk for the Springdale Police Department.
