President of Council Marjorie Harlow called Council to order on
April 1, 2009, at 7:00 p.m.
The governmental body and those in attendance recited the pledge of
allegiance.
Mrs. McNear took roll call. Present were Council members Danbury,
Diehl, Squires, Vanover, Wilson and Harlow. Mr. Galster was absent.
The minutes of March 18, 2009 were approved with six affirmative votes.
COMMUNICATIONS
Mrs. McNear said we have a communication from Time Warner Southwest
Ohio informing us that they completed their transaction to become publicly traded.
Mrs. McNear said she had a reminder from the Ohio Ethics Commission
that elected officials filing is due April 15 and if you are late, you will be
assessed a late fee of $10 per day up to a maximum of $250.

OLD BUSINESS
Mr. Danbury said tickets are available at the Community Center and
elementary schools for Springdale Day at the Reds on April 25.
Mr. Squires reminded Council of Opening Day festivities on April 18.
NEW BUSINESS
Mr. Diehl offered congratulations to the Princeton High School
mens basketball team as runner-up in the state basketball tournament. Mayor Webster
suggested having a resolution for them at the next meeting.

Mr. Osborn said members of the Police Department will participate in
the Police Unity Tour, a bike tour on the east coast. Its a fund raiser for the
families of fallen officers nationally. To help raise funds Chilis Bar and Grill is
donating ten percent of the bill on Sunday and Thursday nights to the cause.
Mr. Osborn said I want to thank Mr. Parham for filling in while I was
out of town.

Mr. Osborn said the reason for the tabling of the JEDD ordinance tonight was to delay
until the public hearing is held on April 15. The public hearing will be a separate
meeting. Then we will have a first reading at the April 15 meeting and a second reading
and adoption the first meeting in May.
